St Hil’s is proud to be hosting Dr. Wesley Hill for a whole week this September!

Wes Hill is Associate Professor of New Testament at Trinity Episcopal Divinity School in Pittsburgh, Illinois. Wes is the author of Washed and Waiting, Reflections on Christian Faithfulness and Homosexuality and Spiritual Friendship, Finding Love in the Church as a Celibate Gay Christian.

In 2017, Wes came and delivered one of our Public Talks, and the evening was a resounding success, with many people in attendance and much positive feedback. This year, we have asked Wes to speak to us at our All Church Conference, and to preach to us at a combined service (with other churches).

Wes will also be speaking at a Youth Night, on the topic “Learning how to love”, as well as running a training session for all Youth Leaders on how to deal with this challenging topic in our youth groups.
