The 2016 St Hilary’s Network All Church Weekend Away is only a couple of months away on the weekend of September 9-11 at the fabulous CYC Philip Island Adventure Resort. We look forward to over 300 people from the community coming together for the weekend.
For those of you who went to the last camp, you already know of the great time this camp is for all ages. This is one of the opportunities we have as a whole Network to come together to worship, to hear top quality preaching, to fellowship together and to have fun. The resort boasts the best facilities in Victoria for camping, and there’s even an area that’s child free – if you would like some extra peace and quiet. If you’re able to come for the whole weekend, then book in for a day visit.
For those with children, there will be a children’s program operating during the sessions and enough time to enjoy being away for the weekend with non-programmed times to enjoy all that Philip Island has to offer.
Bible Studies will be led by Rev. Wei-Han Kuan, CMS Victoria Director and special guest Naomi Reed, who is a very sought after communicator and story teller. Naomi will be with us Friday night and Saturday morning.
We understand the finances for this camp might be difficult for some in the church. So, we are asking that if you would like to make a payment plan, delayed payment or seek a financial hardship assistance, please contact Richard Bruce as soon as possible to discuss how we can help you to come on the camp and not let finances hold you back.
If you would like to volunteer for the camp please contact Richard so we can be sure to get you involved in one of the teams.
Assistance will especially be needed on the Friday to set up and Sunday to pack up.
Bookings are open right now, so head to the event page for details!
