We would like to extend an invitation to you to come and join with Bob and Gracie Ekblad, for a powerful weekend of teaching, encouragement, and ministry on transformational discipleship and holistic healing.
Who are the Ekblads?
Bob and Gracie are the founders and directors of Tierra Nueva (New Earth) in Washington. Bob is an ordained minister, he holds a ThD in Old Testament, is the author of several books, and is known internationally for his courses and workshops on reading the Bible, transformational discipleship, holistic healing, and liberation. Bob and Gracie began ministry as missionaries in Honduras, establishing sustainable farming communities and training pastors.
Bob and Gracie now work with a team of serving immigrants from Latin America, inmates, homeless people and those struggling with addiction. Bob’s roles include serving as director of The People’s Seminary, part-time prison chaplain, teaching at Regent College in Vancouver, BC and serving as Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at The Seattle School and the Westminster Theological Centre in the UK.
Bob also works with Servants of Asia’s Urban Poor, and also teaches in churches and seminaries in France, Africa, Central America, the UK, South Korea, Sweden, Latvia, and the Philippines, training and equipping Christian leaders to minister alongside the poor, the hurting and the marginalised, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Bob and Gracie firmly believe that all Christians are called to the ministry of Jesus, and that the Spirit desires to empower us all to bring about the healing and liberating presence of the Kingdom in our communities. Bob and Gracie approach this through a dynamic confluence of social action and advocacy, physical and inner healing, Scripture study, and contemplative and charismatic spirituality.
Please take the time to come along – this is an opportunity not to be missed!
