In 2016 we collected in excess of $155,000 worth of food. This year we hope to raise even more. Agencies are struggling to keep up with the demand of helping families and individuals facing hardship, and need our help more than ever.
On Sunday 7th of May, 14 churches across Boroondara, including all our congregations across the St Hilary’s Network, are partnering together to run a food collection.
How To Get Involved:
- Volunteer – we need a large number of people to drop off Hope Grocery Bags to allocated areas one week prior (anytime Sunday 30th April to Wednesday 3rd May), and then return on Sunday May 7th to collect donated goods. Email us at email@example.com before Sunday April 16th to sign up.
- Donate Goods – if you receive a blue bag at your doorstep, we would be most appreciative if you are able to contribute something.
Even if you haven’t received a bag, you are welcome to drop off goods directly to St Hilary’s Anglican Church, 12 John St, Kew any time up until Friday May 5th during business hours or during church service times (see contact details page for service times)
- All food and funds – go to the following agencies to provide emergency relief for people in need:
