St Silas has been part of the North Balwyn community for around 70 years, and joined the St Hilary’s Network in 2005.
We have three meetings on a Sunday: 8:30am (Traditional Prayer Book), 10am (Contemporary all age with children’s ministry), and 5:30pm (Contemporary, starting with supper). Each of our services is different, but all of them are committed to coming together on Sundays around God’s Word – to learn about Jesus Christ, and the difference he can make to our lives and to the lives of those we love.
Our church community life is lived out during the week through Connect Groups, as well as through Playgroups and Mainly Music.
We are blessed with a great garden, including a veggie patch that our kids enjoy during playgroups and after church, and our Sunday congregations often share social time together there whenever the weather is fine.
No matter who you are, where you are from, or what you have been through, you are welcome at St Hilary’s. You will find that there is a wide array of people, small groups and activities for you to make connections with God and others.
