The Parenting Children Course (0-10 years)
Children do not arrive with an instruction manual, yet no role we undertake is more important than parenting.
Are you a parent, grandparent or care-giver looking after children aged 0-10 years?
Are you looking for practical support to strengthen your family relationships?
Over five practical sessions, you will cover:
- building strong foundations
- meeting our children's needs
- setting boundaries
- how to build healthy relationships
- our long term aim
The course emphasises the role of the family, and acknowledges that there is no instant recipe for bringing up children. However, some general principles apply to all families, and there is great value in discussions with each other as parents/caregivers.
Each session runs for two hours and includes private discussion time for parents to have with each other.
This year we are offering the course online to make it easier for parents with young children to participate from the comfort of their own home, with the last session in person.
