As we prepare for Easter and the passion of Christ, we will set aside Holy Wednesday as a day of fasting and prayer. This will be a time for our congregation to seek the Lord’s guidance, listen to his voice, and discern his direction for our church in response to the recent fire at Kew. Through fasting, personal reflection, and a corporate gathering, we will seek to align our hearts with God’s heart. It will be a fitting way of expressing two of our core practices – fasting and prayer.
