St Hilary’s Community Orchestra 2025 Christmas Invitation Musicians from across the community are once again invited to join the St Hilary’s Community Orchestra for performances at the:
The Community Orchestra will rehearse and perform Christmas Carols and two advanced works with multi-level parts so that everyone can participate and also be challenged. The guest conductor this year is Roland Yeung, an experienced conductor and music director, supported by volunteer music teachers and advanced players. The orchestra is primarily made up of orchestral strings (AMEB Grade 1+), including high school students and adult players of violin, viola, cello, and double bass. There are also limited places for orchestral wind, brass, and percussion instruments, as well as keyboard and contemporary instruments. Players must bring their own instrument (except keyboard and amplifier) and a folding music stand. Rehearsals will begin in Term 4, every Saturday at 3:45pm arrival for 4:00–5:30pm in the Hall at St Hilary’s Mont Albert North Campus (St Augustine’s, Rostrevor Parade). π Please complete the expression of interest form below to register your interest in joining the St Hilary’s Community Orchestra.
